PROJECT DESCRIPTION		  
The CDM online platform CDM BRAZIL was developed and realized by Henry Heilemann in cooperation with the Environmental Department of the German Chamber of Commerce.

Experts from Ecoinvest will support this work with their market experience and the know-how they accumulated during the years acting in the market. Furthermore related companies like validators and other consultants will be invited to offer their services through this database.

The CDM BRAZIL online platform will offer various information and will act as a marketplace for project developers and potential investors to ERīs (Emission Reductions) in the emerging CDM market. Therefore a guided interface will be created that intents to help identify GHG reduction potentials and support projects in the early phase of the development until, the signing of an investor contract. Furthermore, general information related to the CDM, like national frameworks and other public documents, will be published to facilitate the realization of CDM projects in Brazil.

German Chamber of Commerce, Sao Paulo (AHK)
The Environmental Department of the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK) was created in 1996 with the major purpose to establish environmental technology transfer from Germany to Brazil.

The AHK has wide reaching contacts all over Brazil and regularly receives information requests related to CDM projects. Acting in the Inter-Chamber Committee of Carbon Trade, the Environmental Department of the AHK accumulated vast experience in important questions concerning the CDM market in Brazil.

Ecoinvest
Ecoinvest is an advisory firm based in Brazil providing a broad range of financial services that meet the needs of environmentally conscious investors, supporting them in identifying environmentally and socially sustainable projects.

Ecoinvest focuses currently on identifying investments in cleaner technologies in Brazil, which will reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and become eligible for certified emission reduction (CERs) credits under the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol.
